Our program is designed for individuals who are ready for independence while benefiting from a safe and well-maintained residential environment. Eligibility
To maintain a safe and well-structured living environment, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Have a steady, verifiable source of income (employment, SSI, Social Security, pension, or confirmed subsidy)

Program Information
If you or anyone you know are looking for a safe, clean shared housing environment, you can now apply online at www.brghousing.org to be placed on the waitlist for our shared housing program.
Applicants will be selected in first come first serve order. Once the applicant is contacted, they will be instructed on the next steps required to complete the intake process.
As a reminder, there are beds available to assist any individual that is 21 years or older, can live independently and is looking for housing.
This will be a fully furnished 3 bedroom single family ranch style home located on the westside of Detroit that will house 6 people total. The individual will roommate with 1 other person and share common area space (living area, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room etc.).
The qualifications are that the individual is completely independent, 21 years or older and must have a steady stream of income (employment, social security, SSI, pension, confirmed subsidy, cash contributions etc.).
